Sweet! That's the other design I was thinking of doing, but the pregnant carving won out.
So was this an etching--taking out the outer rind, but not going all the way through? I assume you didn't carve all the way through the pumpkin, since otherwise the baby parts wouldn't be able to stay up!
Yes it was. I searched the house for a toothpick to do the floating head thing, but McKay thought that etching would be easier. So we kind of cheated.
